Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shehab Ali Shah chaired a meeting, during which officials briefed on the Department of Communications and Works.
In the meeting, the Secretary C&W provided a detailed briefing on ongoing development projects, their current status, and the future course of action.
A comprehensive briefing was given on the Annual Development Program and projects being carried out with the assistance of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. On this occasion, challenges faced by the department, issues, and possible reforms for their resolution were also discussed.
Chief Secretary Shehab Ali Shah directed the department to set a specified timeline for the proposed projects to ensure their timely implementation. On this occasion, the Managing Director of Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority also gave a brief update on ongoing projects.

The Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of strategic investment in road infrastructure and directed prioritization of projects that contribute to economic stability and facilitate better connectivity and public transportation.
The Chief Secretary stressed the need to ensure transparency and accountability in the department's projects, considering it essential for effective governance and the province's development.
