It is an attached department of the provincial government responsible for the over all publicity and public relation. It is through this department that the government in this province keeps contact with mass media including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV and cinema. At least one of its representatives works with each department/organization of the province as Public Relations Officer and provides news to the mass media through this Directorate. It is from this Directorate that news regarding the activities and day-to-day working of all the government departments, functionaries including the Governor, Chief Minister and Cabinet members will be constantly updated on this site on daily basis. The concerned PRO to each Department, Minister or functionary can be any time contacted for any query with regard to the concerned Department, Minister or functionary.
